Q was a little surprised when Harry reached him first, but settled against him and held on in return. Even more shocking was when Bond seemed to embrace them both.

"For the record, while that abduction was not entirely unpleasant, I'd prefer we avoid that sort of thing in the future," he said, holding the pair tightly and allowing himself this moment of comfort.

Harry too was surprised in more ways than one in the position they found themselves in. But he found himself relaxing, into Bond as well, and said quietly, “Yes, I think so.”

He glanced at Bond. “You got all dressed up for nothing.”

Bond flashed him a charming smile, the sort that he knew made Q melt.

"Not for nothing," he said, then turned that smile on Q.

"To celebrate."

Q did, indeed, melt a little.

"Early in the day for celebration," he said, not really noticing the way he naturally settled in against Harry's chest.

“Special occasion,” said Harry. He touched Q’s arm and had to resist the urge to do more, like kiss the top of his head. He felt strangely warm. Towards both of them, honestly. Maybe he was just relieved.

Bond nodded in agreement.

"Are you alright?" Bond asked then, concern furrowing his brow. "Has that fae been...tolerable?"

"He was infuriatingly pleasant the whole time," Q assured them both. Which must have been frustrating for the fae and quartermaster both, as Q did like to pick at people a bit- Even start a quarrel on occasion.

“We were worried,” blurted Harry. Well. He certainly had been. “Just…I’m glad all is well.”

From:

"All's well now," Bond assured him, rubbing Harry's back a bit and then giving him a pat. "Why don't we go back to the ship? No need to test the Queen's hospitality now..."

Bond was quite diplomatic, it seemed, because what he really wanted to do was drag them both back to his quarters and lock the door.

"I have missed the ship, shockingly," Q admitted, pulling away from the pair, but holding onto the sleeve of Harry's shirt as he looked at Bond. "I missed you both. I missed... I missed a lot more than I expected to."

Harry was surprised when Bond touched him. Then again by how much he liked it. And then as well by Q’s open affection. But he did relax. “Back to the ship it is, yes.”

Bond escorted them both out of the Dryad palace and down the road to the dock. He kept close, arm around Q so that if he flexed his fingers he could touch Harry, too. Thoughts whirled in his head and by the time they reached the village it seemed to him they would never reach the ship.

And he couldn't wait to be alone.

They were docked until the prince was sorted. They didn't have to use his quarters...

Bond looked up then and spotted an inn and steered the pair wordlessly into it, hoping they both felt the same urgency.

Q was a little surprised when they turned, but he didn't object, glancing over at Bond, then Harry.

"Are we not sleeping on the ship tonight? Not a complaint... Just unexpected."

Harry couldn't help but feel a little thrill at what this could mean, but then felt rather silly for it.

"I was hoping to have a moment to speak to Q alone," he said. "Before the two of you... retire for the evening."

Bond turned to look at him, long and curious.

"Were you needed elsewhere?" he asked. "Am I being ambiguous?"

He scanned him up and down.

Then looked at Q.

"Do you have a reason Harry shouldn't join us?"

"Well, your bloodlust and tendency to indulge in vengeance come to mind, but other than that... No. Though I confess, it is a bit unexpected," Q said, somehow managing not to look as surprised as he was.

He was also a bit nervous about Harry seeing how he and James tended to engage in the bedroom. He wasn't sure the other man would understand.

The way Bond looked him up and down was nearly enough to arouse Harry right there. "Well I suppose that's not ambiguous," he said. "But I thought you were the jealous sort."

Then he looked at Q, trying to gauge his reaction to this. After all, the last conversation they'd had was about how they... liked each other, and how it was best Bond not know.

"Possessive," he corrected.

"Q is jealous. He's the one who asked me to be faithful. But you're blind if you can't see how he wants you. You must think I'm blind and don't see the way you want him..."

He nearly shoved them inside.

"And surely my desires are clear."

"You really underestimate how hard it is to tell whether you are thinking with your cock or your blade," Q assured him.

Harry would agree with that.

Find himself practically shoved into the room, the door now closed behind him, Harry looked at Bond and then said, "So if I kiss him right now, you'll only watch instead of run me through with your sword?"

Bond pivoted and leaned in close to his ear.

"Kiss him properly and I may indeed run you through," he purred softly, then moved and pushed Harry closer to Q, grabbing his ass as he did.

Q nearly pointed out that no one had asked him if he wanted kissing- But, well, this was quite fascinating, and questions would certainly spoil the mood.

"I don't know about introducing blood play the first night," he quipped instead.

"I think I'd rather not," Harry said with a slight quirk of a smile, even as he felt Bond's breath on the back of his neck. He leaned in, until his breath was against Q's neck in turn, and then grasped his wrist. "Do you want me to kiss you?"

Bond scowled behind Harry's shoulder, disappointed that it seemed they both believed he'd murder them.

They weren't wrong. It did show him there was little trust, though.
